I always said I’d blog ‘once in a while, but what a while it’s been!
I knew I hadn’t been much of a ‘good blogger’ of late, but when I scrolled back and saw my last post was in April, it really made me think.
Blogging takes effort; you have to be in the right frame of mind to write, to reminisce, to share what you’ve written with the world.
It’s been a good few weeks of change in the Andrews household with a new car, new job and new weather to adjust to.
As winter is now well and truly setting in (our first in Cape Town), we spend most evenings huddled in front of the fire and most weekends exploring and getting used to our ‘new’ home town.
Here are a few of my favourite moments from the past few months:
We said a sad goodbye to Serenity as she was just to heavy on fuel, meet the newest member of the family (in her place), Indigo Girl
What a view! We finally made the trip to Chapman’s Peak drive, truly beautiful
The best views on Chapman’s Peak drive!
Not the clearest shot – doggies waiting on the couch for mom to get home from work
We love spending evenings in front of the fire
That’s Bassie’s good side 😉
Bertie loves the fireplace and sitting with his dad. Best of both!
That’s all for now, folks 🙂 I’ll post again when we have more news to share…
