Dad-in law’s 70th

What a scramble the past week’s been!

We flew up to Joburg on Saturday morning for my dad-in-law’s 70th birthday party and flew back Monday evening, so it’s felt like a rush without a real weekend, as we didn’t spend it doing normal weekend things like going to the beach for a walk and an ice cream.

That said, we still had a great time.

It was lovely to see the family and friends we’d been missing so much these five months, but I think the visit proved to us that we’ve made the right decision as I was missing my mountain just as much as my doggies, who were ‘puppy sat’ by their other granny and grampa while we travelled.
