SOB! It’s all coming to an end so quickly now. Just a week and a bit to go before we completely pack up the life we had here and start over again at the seaside. We are looking forward to so much about the Cape Town lifestyle, but it’s definitely going to take a while to adjust and settle down nicely; to grow roots and feel like we belong. But life’s an adventure and if you don’t take risks, you’ll always regret what could have been. Onwards and upwards!
This past weekend was the FINAL final weekly family braai (last week’s final braai was the last one at my in-laws‘ house. Keep up.) We knew it would be sad but my goodness, tears were streaming down my cheeks! Our friends had put together a slideshow of awesome moments over the years (half of which we don’t remember!) That would be bad enough if they hadn’t chosen “That’s what friends are for” as the soundtrack. 😦
It was a really lovely day though, filled with laughter at the silly Zombie brothers, attempting table tennis and darts in the rain, the Gangnam Style queues for the loo … ) Here are my favourite moments:
Guests of honour 😉
